After Cash and Ray had hauled out the the furniture, Cash got to feeling better already. He knew that he could start again fresh in the morning like he had intended the day to go with concerning of getting a living room set. Ray had decided to drive back in to town to get the pizza as well as to show Cash around town. “First things first about Canton.” Ray began cutting his bull shit off and got serious for the moment as he fastened his seat belt. “I’m all ears.” Cash replied adjusting the passenger seat and getting comfortable. “Shit goes down around here. I know you’re from the city and I can appreciate all the crap that you’ve had to have seen and do and I’m just a country boy. I was born and raised right here in Canton. Shit goes down differently here.” Ray started turning on his wipers to remove the wet oak leaves that were plastered to the windshield as he backed out of Cash’s drive. “I’m all ears.” Cash repeated. “Ok. The best way I can put it into perspective for you...
Lunch had went well and the furniture being delivered had went well too. Once it was all situated, Negan took quick claim of the recliner as Cash stood back to admire the room. It looked 100 times better. It was more inviting and so much more like a home rather than an old hunting cabin and the most attractive addition to the room was his date. “You’d look a hell of a lot better on the sofa.” Cash boldly suggested with his hands perched on his hips. Negan tuned his head and looked up at Cash over the rim of his glasses. “You’ve got a whole lot of fucking testosterone coursing threw those veins of yours don’t you?” Negan questioned. Cash laughed. It wasn’t just the way that Negan looked or the way that he moved his body like a cat or even the way that he smelled so richly, it was his quick witt that turned him on as well. “Was worth a shot.” Cash continued to laugh with a wink and found himself a spot on the sofa to kick back and stretch himself out. “This is nice.” He smiled runni...
Cash may had never met his new partner, Ray before, other than a few short phone calls but he was never so thankful to see him pull in the drive now. Being around a fellow brother would bring back a sense of normalcy to him that apparently he was losing grips of. Seeing Ray’s headlights pulling in the drive from his living room window, he got up to meet him at the door to leave him no opportunity to knock. “This kicks some serious ass, Howlett!” Ray called out loving from what he could see in the dark. To Ray it was everything a man’s man loved; a cabin out on the middle of nowhere. “Thanks. It’s a bit rough but I just pulled in last night.” Cash called back as Ray approached the steps. “Don’t apologize. This place is fucking awesome!… Ray Walker.” He introduced extending his hand as he jogged up the porch steps. “Cash Howlett.” Cash smiled meeting Ray’s grasp in a firm handshake. “Good to meet you, Howlett and with your credentials, I’m stoked because we’ve got plenty to do and F...
